PPG Silicas is a leading manufacturer of silicates (SiO2) for industrial rubber products, tires and battery separators.
For inks and coatings as well as printing inks, we can offer the matting agents of the Lo-Vel product range. These are finely ground silicates that are sifted and in some cases coated. New developments focus on products with a narrow particle size distribution and high matting efficiency.

The Hi-Sil thickeners are based on the same chemical basis (SiO2).

The Inhibisil corrosion inhibitors (CaSiO3) are used as a substitute for chrome-based or other toxic anti-corrosion pigments.
